Children in Between (CIB) Traditional Class Setting

Thank you for your interest in the "in-class" format of Children in Between (formerly known as Children in the Middle). This discussion group format is commonly offered by community agencies or independent providers to parents who are typically mandated to attend a co-parenting or divorce education class by a domestic relations court.

The curriculum itself is designed to be delivered in a skills-based approach, allowing parents to walk away with discrete actionable tools they can use to improve their interactions. Each class is lead by a facilitator (to be determined locally); with an optimal class size of no more than 15 participants. Note: Research proves that this optimal class size ensures participants have better interaction with each other as well as improved interaction with the material.

The Children in Between Starter Kit Includes:

  1. A Leaders Guide to help facilitate ongoing discussions;

  2. A DVD that depicts the various scenarios for discussion groups; and

  3. Fifteen (15) each of the What About the Children booklet & the Children in Between II Parent/Child Activity booklet. (This supply is enough to begin at least one class.)

  4. An Access-Code to log-in and download the PowerPoint Presentation Slides for use in presenting in a traditional classroom (discussion group) setting.
